GTWeistec Engineering has released new Adjustable Coilovers for the AMG GT and GT-S. These bolt-on coilovers are fully compatible with the car’s existing electronic damper system and give AMG GT owners the ability to quickly and easily set their desired ride height.
Weistec’s new bolt-on coilover suspension package offers the discerning AMG driver dramatically improved handling without any of the complexities traditionally associated with setting the ride height of a vehicle with coilovers. Thanks to Weistec’s integrated ball spring set screws, owners can make precise ride height adjustments quickly and easily using the audible and tactile “click” detents built into the collar.
Spring rates front and rear have also been optimized by Weistec engineers to deliver improved responsiveness and driver control along with superior ride quality thanks to extensive street and track testing.
The Weistec Adjustable Coilovers feature a single coil up front that allows for up to a 1-inch drop. Out back a coil spring/tender spring combo allows for ride height adjustments of up to 1 ½-inches lower than stock. Spring bushings are made from CNC-machined Delrin while the rest of the components are made from CNC-machined and laser-etched aluminum.
The Weistec Adjustable Coilovers are available for the 2015+ Mercedes AMG GT and GT-S (C190), are a direct bolt-on and include the hex keys and stainless steel spanner wrench needed to make ride height adjustments.
