NASCAR The Game 2013 features all the teams, drivers and tracks of the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship. The best part of the game is the career mode, where you can set your team name and choose which Gen 6 stock car you want to drive, Chevrolet SS, Ford Fusion or Toyota Camry.
It can be a bit tricky for start to drive around an oval track 180 mph when there are 43 cars on track at the same time. The first couple of races might look a bit more like a destruction derby than a NASCAR race. To get started, there are some driving assistance systems to help you out. ABS brakes, traction control and spin control assistance can be quite useful at least in the first races. You can also set the AI driver’s difficulty level, possibility of a car damage, tyre wear and fuel usage.
The chosen race length can be between 2 and 100 percent of the length of the real NASCAR race. If you want to have a full NASCAR race weekend experience, you can also drive all the practice runs. Or you can skip them and go straight to qualifying and to race. When driving, there are lots of different camera angles to choose from, including the view from the cockpit. The cars and the track look great and the sounds are not too bad either. When a collision occurs on a track, there is a beautiful replay shown just like you would be watching it from the television. NASCAR The Game 2013 is an absolute must for all the NASCAR fans, but is entertaining for other virtual races as well.
