On the Powered Up -DVD Jeremy Clarkson is in the South of France at the Paul Ricard Test Circuit to drive some of the new cars of the 2011. As usually, the car lineup isn’t a modest one. McLaren’s MP4-12C, Ferrari FF, Nissan GT-R, Porsche’s GT2 RS, Lamborghini Gallardo and BMW 1 Series M Coupe get to show their performance on the track. In addition to these supercars, Jeremy also drives the Mugen Honda CR-Z hybrid and decides which small hatch is the best; Citroen DS3 Racing, Abarth 500C or the Renault Clio Cup. Even the BMW 535d Touring gets to the track.
The visiting stars are Indian racing driver Karun Chandhok and of course The Stig. On the Powered Up -DVD Clarkson finds out what is needed for Ferrari FF to overtake Ferrari 458. In addition Clarkson does little drag racing on a one mile straight and Karun Chandok tests which car is the fastest round the corner. And finally, Clarkson chooses wich car puts a biggest smile on your face.
